NEVER FORGOTTEN HONOR FLIGHT

Our veterans are an integral part of our society.  It is in their honor that we invite you to help us support these courageous people.  A portion of the proceeds of this event are donated to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.  This organization is committed to fly our World War II, Korean, and Vienam War veterans to Washington, D.C. to view their memorials at no cost to the veterans.  The amount needed, per veteran sponsored, is $500.  For more information about Honor Flight, please see their website - Never Forgotten Honor Flight.  There will be additional opportunities to make donations throughout the afternoon at the Bock Fest.  To date this event has attracted 12,000 participants the last 10 years and has raised over $120,000.  The 2020 year that was cancelled would have included approximately another 1500 participants.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!  Check here if you are interested in sending someone you know on the Honor Flight.

Participants Receive Their Shirt and a Free Beer

Thank you to all participants who registered last year and patiently waited for the rescheduled run, agreeing to hold over the funds for the benefit of the Never Forgotten Honor Flight 5K Run/Walk.  Unfortunately, we were not able to put the run itself together, but everyone will still receive their shirt and a free beer, and, more importantly, the remaining funds will still be turned over to the Honor Flight organization.

Procedure to Pickup Shirts

Each person registered and paid has a shirt available for pick-up in their specified size.  The procedure will work similarly to past year's packet pick-up.  Since there will not be a race, bibs and numbers are not needed.  Each person will receive their shirt and one free beer ticket good for the day of Bock Fest, Saturday, April 10.  There will be no cash refunds.  The balance of the funds collected, as in past years, will be turned over to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight organization.
