Cannabidiol, often abbreviated as CBD, is a naturally occurring major compound found in the Cannabis sativa plant consisting of 40 percent of its extract. It isn’t to be confused with tetrahydrocannabinol, often abbreviated as THC, the main C. sativa compound used in marijuana. Not only does CBD lack the brain altering effects of THC, but it is antagonistic to those effects. Renewed scientific interest in CBD has found that that the compound is a great candidate for treating disorders like anxiety, psychosis, and depression. These benefits have contributed to the rise in popularity of CBD products, which now includes Bull Falls beer in the form of our new CBD infused Steinadler Kolsch!
